This book is just so good!



Evangeline, the main character wants to stop the wedding of her true love, Luc, who is marrying her Stepsister! What a fucking duche! I already hated him for toying with the main character's feelings! The stepsister totally passes the vibe check though. From what I'm reading so far, she's a nice person.



Then later Evangeline meets a what they call a "Fate" who promises to stop the wedding. Which, I understand will become the love interest of the main character, but I haven't gotten there yet.



So anyway... he stops the wedding by TURNING EVERYONE AT THE WEDDING TO STONE!



She feels bad and drinks poison to turn herself into stone so that she can take their place as a stone figure and release the wedding party from being stone.



Jacks (the "Fate") leaves her there and forgets all about her for 6 weeks. Evangeline eventually wakes up and finds out that Jacks abandoned her, Luc gave 0 fucks and tried to get married again, and then got attacked by a wolf before the next wedding and ran away, and now her stepsister is labeled the "Cursed bride" because of this.



They both attend a magical party and Evangeline kisses the prince Apollo that Jacks made her kiss.



Oh yea, Jacks shows up at this magical party.



I also forgot to mention that anyone who kisses Jacks dies. So because he can't kiss Evangeline he makes her kiss 3 people. (Apollo is the first, I have not gotten to read where she kisses the other two) Because Jacks helped her stop Luc's and her stepsister Marisol's wedding, she now owes him 3 kisses. One down, two to go. That is where I ended off in the story.



It is so good and well written.
